Are you an intrepid explorer seeking adventures in experiential learning? Do you love hands-on activities, excursions to museums, and experiences that stimulate your creativity and imagination? If you answered "yes" to any these, you are invited to join The Society for Museum Explorers as it takes off on September 17, 2023.
The Society for Museum Explorers sets out to add to the Marilyn Horne Museum's education and outreach programs. Many activities are designed specifically with families in mind, and may include a few hours creating a take-home art piece, or something as exciting as a trip to see a live opera in New York City. We invite you to join us as we grow and develop this exciting program. Most activities will be offered for a small fee starting at just $10 per person. All Explorers events and activities will be listed in the museum's Calendar of Events, or on the Explorers tab. Adventure awaits! Magali Attiogbé was born in Atakpamé in Togo and moved to France at the age of 3. A lifelong love for painting and sculpture led to an Illustration DMA at the Estienne School in Paris. Since then, Magali has poured her talents into a variety of media – posters, books, toys, and more.
Many of the most popular items in the museum shop were designed by Magali. If you've shopped with us before, you may recognize some of her work. |
