Inspire and educate new generations on the importance of art, culture and philanthropy through the life and achievements of renowned mezzo-soprano, Marilyn Horne.
Pitt-Bradford is looking for a self-directed professional with a strong creative vision to lead the University’s 3,400 square-foot Art Deco exhibition space celebrating the craft of opera and the achievements of renowned diva and Bradford-native Marilyn Horne. The Director is responsible for providing dynamic leadership and direct planning, organization, strategic vision and management of the Museum and Museum Store. Specific duties include major gifts officer for the museum, oversight of all store operations, curatorial management of the collection along with rights/licensing agreements, marketing for all operations, community engagement, outreach and educational programming, event planning and management of numerous student ambassadors and part-time university staff.
