Candlelight Concerts & Afternoon recitals presented by
the marilyn horne museum and exhibit Center

Join us as we present talented performers from around the country. These free concerts take place in the Fenice Theater in the museum, the Harriett B. Wick Chapel, and the Bromeley Family on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

Fenice Theater

The Fenice Theater is an intimate space located inside the museum. It can accommodate up to 35 guests for performances. It is the perfect venue for true chamber recitals, and includes a fully restored late 19th-century George Steck piano, generously gifted to the museum by Ms. Anne Fair in memory of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Whelan.

Harriett B. Wick Chapel

The 150-seat Harriett B. Wick Chapel was designed by the late Albert Filoni, president of MacLachlan, Cornelius and Filoni Architects Inc. Set among the wooded hillsides of the Pitt-Bradford campus, the chapel overlooks the Tunungwant Creek. A dramatic wall of glass frames the woodland setting and is flanked by a pipe organ built by the Schantz Organ Company.

Bromeley Family Theater

The centerpiece of Pitt-Bradford Arts, the Bromeley Family Theater features a magnificent Steinway grand, and can seat up to 500 visitors on two levels.
