The Good Old Summertime festival
june 9, 2018
noon - 6:00 p.m.
In 1934, when Marilyn Horne was born, summertime was filled with picnics, children playing outdoors, and music in the gazebo. The ladies from the Historical Society had their bake sale and American cars with white-walled tires rolled along Main Street. Join us this summer as we recreate the old fashioned days of yesteryear!
The Washington D.C. area-based Monumental Brass Quintet has performed at Wolf Trap Theater in the Woods, the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian museums, and concert halls across the United States. The award-winning ensemble also performs for thousands of school-aged children each year.
Landmark Society bake sale
The Bradford Landmark Society will be joining us at the festival to host an old fashioned bake sale! Enjoy a tasty homemade treat and support the Society.
Hosted by Pitt-Bradford Arts Programming this kid's activity area will feature face painting and balloon animals. Kids will also have an opportunity to help create a work of art in chalk!
